ShortBread Biscuits

These days what ever snacks i have been prepared was especially for my daughter laky.As she started going to school i have to pack her snack box as wellas lunch box.So i have too prepare in such a way that she will have her full snack n lunch with leaving any thing.

So yesterday i have prepared shortbread biscuits which are more liked by children. These biscuits are easy to prepare and it can be stored for a month .The ingredients needed for these biscuits are few things only which will be readly available in every house.

Mix flour and butter together

Add sugar and vanilla extract

Knead the mixture to form a dough

used cutter to cut the mixture

placed on bakingtray which is covered by baking paper

Plain flour-1cup
Vanilla extract-1/2tsp

Add the flour and butter together in the mixing bowl, then rub with your fingers.Until it becomes crumbly. Add half a teaspoon of vanilla extract to the bowl and then mix in the sugar.

Now knead the mixture into a ball with your hands until it all sticks together and sprinkle a clean surface with flour. Then roll the dough out flat with a rolling pin until it is about 1cm thick.

Now use a cutter to cut shapes out of your mixture and place them onto a baking tray that has been pre-covered with baking paper. You can re-roll the dough to cut more shortbread biscuits until it is all used up.

Place the tray in a pre-heated oven at 160ÂșC Fan for 12–15 minutes.

Once they are cool you can eat them, but not all at once!
